   Captain John Bazo of Homosassa, a veteran fishing guide with a profound connection to the waters he has navigated since childhood. Originally from Ocala, Captain John has been guiding anglers through the rich waters of Homosassa since 1995 and currently serves as the president of the Homosassa Guides Association, Florida's oldest guides association, established in 1950.
Specializing in light tackle and inshore fishing, Captain John's true passion is leading clients on fly fishing expeditions for giant tarpon during the peak months of May and June. Throughout the rest of the year, he expertly guides anglers in pursuit of redfish, trout, snook, and inshore grouper.
   Captain John operates from his flats boat and a classic 24’ flat back Pro-Line, ensuring a comfortable and effective fishing experience.
